Trenieka Hall knows what it means to be a prisoner in her own home. Growing up in a religious household puts strict stipulations on what she can and can't do. She and her twin sister often find themselves sneaking around to simply enjoy being kids. However, there are other things that interest her. No matter how strict her parents are, she knows it's something she shouldn't be doing. Although she's eighteen and an adult in the eyes of the law, she's not an adult until she's on her own. She ignores her fear of getting caught and chooses to pursue her church crush, hoping he wants to explore more than just the physical.

Mason Albright is an eighteen-year-old far beyond his years. While he enjoys engaging in things most kids do, he realizes that he craves being in a relationship. Her parents are vigilant with making sure she doesn't stray from God's grace or their watchful eyes. However, the stars align for them to get alone time, and they take advantage.

Extenuating circumstances makes their future together possible... or do they? Trenieka and Mason experience a whirlwind of emotions due to situations beyond their control. Things aren’t always what they seem, and they realize being in church doesn’t save you. Sins committed can directly affect their budding relationship.
